Rules & payouts
  • Blackjack — a natural 21 on your first two cards. Pays 3:2, unless the dealer also has one (push).
  • Dealer — stands on all totals of 17, including soft 17. Peeks for blackjack immediately when showing an Ace or a 10-value card, before you act.
  • Double down — double your bet and take exactly one more card, on any first two cards, including after a split.
  • Split — split a matching-rank pair into two hands of equal bet. One split per hand, no resplitting. Split aces get exactly one card each and can't be hit again.
  • Insurance — offered only when the dealer shows an Ace. Costs half your bet, pays 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack. A bet against your own hand, not for it — the math favors the house here, same as any insurance bet.
  • Push — a tie returns your bet with no win or loss.
  • Shoe — dealt from a real 6-deck shoe, reshuffled between hands once it runs low.

Blackjack is a race to 21 without going over, played against the dealer alone — other players at a real table don't affect your hand. Every decision comes down to the same math: hit, stand, double, or split based on your total against the dealer's up-card.
